Helpdesk

Do we deliver?
Yes, in short we deliver to most locations. If you take a look at our Delivery page (CLICK HERE), there is a clever tool to calculate the cost. If you don't see a price then a distance from our warehouse to your location will be shown and we can discuss this when you call.
Is everything in stock?
For the most part yes, we hold a huge amount of stock for immediate delivery, but we do also source a huge quantity of furniture from lots of different suppliers and manufacturers so if for any reason we have not got an item in stock then the average lead time is around two to four weeks, but please do give us a call to check on availability.
Is everything assembled?
Yes, everything is assembled. Tables usually come with the legs detached for ease of transport but the delivery team will pop these on for you when it is delivered. Beds (with the exception of bunk beds) are delivered and assembled free of charge. Wardrobes will usually dismantle and the delivery team will dismantle and reassemble on delivery for you as part of the delivery charge.
What finishes are available?
Many of our products are available in various stains, the wood is then either waxed (giving a more matt traditional finish) or lacquered (a more polished appearance) or oiled (on hardwood products) and some can even come painted when looking at a pine product.
Waxed and oiled furniture requires waxing or oiling using a clear Danish or a simple furniture. It is best to use an oil on hard wood products such as Oak and a wax for softer timbers like Pine. Tables getting harder wearing will need oiling/waxing more often than an occasionally used wardrobe. Some wax products have stains mixed in with them, these can be used to enrich the shade of the furniture or to touch up marks or knocks in the wood.
Lacquered furniture needs less attention as the wood is sealed. A polish now and again is fine. If marks do occur, apply a little wax the correct shade to help mask the flaw, it is always a good idea to use place mats before placing any hot items on any solid wood surface.
What guarantee do I have for my furniture?
There is a standard 1 year manufacturers guarantee on all of our products against any manufacturing defects, should any problem manifest itself within this time then please call us and the item will be replaced or repaired.

Furniture Measurements
You will see measurements on our site for every piece of furniture we provide. These are as accurate as we can make them but we are human - there are occasionally some mistakes as we have nearly 1,500 individual products to manage. So when you are measuring a room, please do check the measurements with us first. We are always glad to help and tape measures are available in our stores free for you to use. Remember too that we offer a 'Made to Measure' service on our Blenheim Pine and Grange Pine collections when standard measurements do not quite fit the space. Please ask for details.
